DAY WISE ITINERARY

DAY 1 - ARRIVAL / NEW DELHI
Meeting and assistance on arrival by Royal India Holidays representative at the Delhi airport, the guests will be accorded traditional Indian welcome and transferred to the hotel for overnight stay.
 
DAY 2 - OLD AND NEW DELHI SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast enjoy city sightseeing of Old Delhi founded by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in 1639.
Proceed to explore winding streets of Chandni Chowk Bazaar by cycle rickshaw & drive past to Red fort (UNESCO World Heritage Site), a 17th-century fort complex, visit Jama Masjid Mosque built in 1656 AD, Visit to the Raj Ghat – Memorial and the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi (Father of the Nation).
 
Afternoon enjoy city sightseeing of New Delhi by visiting Humayun’s Tomb (A UNESCO World Heritage Site), Qutab Minar – Built from 1192 to 1368 and the tallest tower in India, Laxminarayan Temple – A Hindu temple, also known as Birla Temple. Drive past the India Gate – War memorial built in 1931, Parliament House built in 1927 and President’s Palace built in 1929
 
DAY 3 - NEW DELHI / TRAIN TO GANGAPUR / DRIVE TO KARAULI
Spend the morning at leisure at your hotel The Maidens. Later transfer to the Nizamuddin railway station to board train to Gangapur.
 
Meeting and assistance on arrival and 01 hr drive to Karauli, the princely state founded in 1348 AD famous for 14th century Old City Palace and is situated in a position naturally defended by ravines on the north and east, while it is further protected by a great wall. 
On arrival at Karauli check in to hotel Bhanwar Vilas for overnight stay.

Evening free to explore the town on your own to see the local village life of Rajasthan. 

 
DAY 4 - VISIT TO LOCAL SCHOOL | EXPLORE KARAULI
After breakfast visit a local school for children run by the NGO. Later explore the town or relax at your hotel.
 
DAY 5 -KARAULI / DRIVE TO BUNDI
After breakfast drive to Bundi. On arrival transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
 
Bundi is a small city in the state of Rajasthan. The locals living in this quaint city are old fashioned and follow the customs and rituals typical to the state of Rajasthan. This quaint little city is becoming a well-liked tourist attraction owing to the fact that it is representative of the culture prevalent in Rajasthan. It is of great architectural importance since this small city is dotted with ornate forts, splendid palaces, and step well tanks also known as ‘Baoris’. 
 
One can opt to visit Taragarh Fort, Garh Palace and Nawal Sagar Lake during the stay at Bundi.
 
DAY 6 - BUNDI / DRIVE TO BHAINSRORGARH
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Bhainsrorgarh. On arrival check into your heritage hotel Bhainsrorgarh Fort for overnight stay.
 
Bhainsrorgarh Fort is an ancient fort that has become a major tourist spot in Rajasthan. Bhainsrorgarh is an impregnable fort, inhabited from at least the 2nd century BC. It is dramatically positioned between two rivers, The Chambal & Bamani. The present fort is around 260 years old and was built in the 1740s. Bhainsrorgarh fort has now been converted into a luxury heritage hotel run by the erstwhile royal family and is a very popular tourist spot for tourists from all around the world.
 
This heritage retreat is exclusively located by the Chambal riverside. It is the most brilliant location forromantic or exclusive getaway.
 
DAY 7 - BHAINSRORGARH
One can opt to do jeep safari in the Bhainsrorgarh wildlife sanctuary,

After breakfast, day free to explore the Bhainsrorgarh on your own.visit to the 8th century Baroli Temples – a true architectural delight.
 
 
An unique experience you must not miss when you are in Bhainsrorgarh is boating in the Chambal Lake. Book old styled boat that is spacious and comfortable. You can even notice alligators or marsh crocodiles if you are lucky enough, or plan one day picnic at Hinglaj Garh Fort surrounded by the thick and lush forests.

DAY 8 - BHAINSRORGARH / SHAHPURABAGH
After breakfast drive to Shahpura Bagh. On arrival at Shahpura, check into heritage property Shahpurabagh for overnight stay.
(If interested you can visit Bassi, en route to see the craftsman (Wooden toy manufacturers).

DAY 9 – SHAHPURABAGH
Today discover rural life around Shahpurabagh. And one can do lots of activities like fishing, boating etc. Shahpura Bagh is a beautiful boutique heritage property located in rural Rajasthan. It is a wonderful, garden estate surrounded by glistening lakes and comprises two residences all with light and airy suites and rooms.
 
DAY 10 - SHAHPURABAGH / BIJAIPUR
On arrival check into heritage hotel Castle Bijaipur, a
After breakfast drive to Bijaipur, a heritage and experiential getaway in the heart of Aravalli near Chittaurgarh. 
16th century palace converted to a heritage hotel in 1991 by the ruling family. The Castle is still home to the ruling family who run it, not as a hotel but as a ‘HOME’ where people can come and experience traditional Rajput hospitality.

DAY 11- BIJAIPUR / JOJAWAR
After breakfast drive to Jojawar. Jojawar is fairly big village, where people come from nearby hemlets (dhanis) to do their day to day trading, so the market is full of colours and life.

Area around Jojawar has the biggest settlement of Rabaries in Marwar and because of the Rabari settlements, this area has huge camel population which is approx. 4 to 6 thousand depending on the buying and selling.
 
Evening free to explore the colourful markets of the region or relax at your hotel.
 
DAY 12-  JOJAWAR
After breakfast explore the Jojawar in and around on your own.
 
One can opt to visit evening or morning to the fields where the camels graze. One can go to thesedhanis on the Horse, camel, camel cart or jeep depending on the interest of the guests. 
 
DAY 13- JOJAWAR / JODHPUR
After breakfast drive to Jodhpur. On arrival, check into the hotel Ratan Vilas.
 
DAY 14- JODHPUR / BISHNOI VILLAGES / JODHPUR
During this exciting 4x4 jeep drive through the dessert we will see and visit the Dhani, family from Bishnoi and Pittal community, visit to a village with a welcome by the village chief, visit to homes to see craftsmen at work (potter & weaver) and witness an age-old traditional western Rajasthani ceremony.
 
Today after breakfast proceed for a “Day Drive Desert Experience” to visit the country side with Picnic rural Lunch, bottled water and soft beverages.
 
En route, you also see the wildlife that is abundant in this area like black buck, chinkara,neel gai, wild boar, desert fox and a large variety of bird life, migratory and You also get the opportunity to see a rural kitchen and sample local delicacies at a picnic lunch comprising of various preparations made with local ingredients which are organically grown, and served to you in a relaxed and tranquil setting.the
 
After a truly unforgettable experience you return back to your hotel by sundown leaving you with memories of a rural visit completely off the beaten path and unlike anything else you will experience during your visit to Rajasthan.
 
DAY 15- JODHPUR SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast proceed for city sightseeing of Jodhpur visiting Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, and Mandore Gardens.
Mehrangarh Fort, which in words Rudyard Kipling is “A creation of angels, fairies and giants.” Mehrangarh Fort spreads over five kilometres on a hill. It houses a palace intricately adorned with long carved panels and latticed windows exquisitely wrought from red sandstone. It also has a museum with a rich collection of palanquins, howdahs, and royal cradles, miniature paintings of various schools, folk music instruments, costumes and impressive armoury.
 
DAY 16- JODHPUR / NEW DELHI / DEPARTURE
 
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the Jodhpur airport to board flight for New Delhi and then catch flight for your onward destination.
