DAY WISE ITINERARY

DAY 1 - ARRIVAL/DELHI
Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to Hotel.
 
Delhi, Capital City of independent India rewards the determined sightseer with more than a thousand monuments and two old capital buildings complexes-including the present seat of Government, designed by the British architect Sir Edwin Lutyens. Cosmopolitan hotels, shopping, and fine restaurants abound. Overnight at Hotel.
 
DAY 2 - DELHI/AGRA
After early breakfast drive 5 hrs to Agra. Evening city sightseeing and visit to Taj Mahal at sunset.
 
Agra is the home to the world's most famous building Taj Mahal that still astonishes in its power and beauty. Other great monuments at Agra are the Red Fort and nearby abandoned city Fatehpur Sikri. Agra was the seat of the imperial Mughal court during the 16th and 17th Centuries, before the capital was shifted to Delhi. Overnight at Hotel.
 
Note: Taj Mahal remains closed on Friday.
 
DAY 3 - AGRA/JAIPUR
After breakfast drive 5 hrs to Jaipur en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri.
 
Fatehpur Sikri lies thirty-five kilometers from Agra on the Agra / Jaipur Road. It is Akbar's famous ghost town, Fatehpur Sikri, which was the Emperor's capital for a short span of sixteen years
 
Jaipur, or the City of Victory, was founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. It is a marvelous synthesis of architectural influences - Hindu, Jain, Mughal and one of the few well planned city of yore. The walled city is called pink city, as by law all building must be painted deep saffron pink. On arrival stay at Hotel for overnight.
 
DAY 4 - JAIPUR
Morning excursion to Amber Fort, the ancient capital of the region.
 
The city is surrounded by couple of forts - the most magnificent being Amber the ancient capital of the region. Amber, a now deserted complex, still recalls its heydays through the majestic ramparts rising steeply along the contoured hillsides. Here limited number of elephants still carries visitors in stately splendors to the main Palace.
 
Evening city sightseeing of Jaipur visiting Hawa Mahal or the palace of winds, Jantar mantar, the observatory and city palace.
Overnight at Hotel.
 
DAY 5 - JAIPUR
Spend the day at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
 
Optional - Sunset elephant safari (45 minutes) followed by folk entertainment and traditional Indian barbeque dinner.
 
DAY 6 - JAIPUR/GOA
After early breakfast transfer to airport for flight to Goa. Assistance on arrival and transfer to Hotel.
 
Spend the evening at leisure. Goa - Once the jewel of Portugal's eastern empire, Goa still retains many of the ways of the Old Portuguese colony and is a firm tourist favorite. A lush, green territory with mile upon mile of beautiful beaches, the emphasis here is very much on fun and relaxation. Good food, good wine, song and dance and general merriment - just the place for letting your hair down and enjoying life. Overnight at Hotel.
 
DAY 7 - GOA
Morning city sightseeing of Old Goa and Goa village. Evening free for independent activities. Overnight Hotel.
 
DAY 8 - GOA
Morning visit to spice garden with Picnic lunch. Evening free to relax by the beach. Overnight Hotel.
 
DAY 9 - GOA
Day free for independent activities. Overnight Hotel.
 
DAY 10 - GOA
Day free for independent activities. Overnight Hotel.
 
DAY 11 - GOA/MUMBAI/DEPARTURE

After breakfast transfer to airport for flight to Mumbai. Assistance on arrival and transfer to international airport for flight to onward destination.
