DAY WISE ITINERARY

DAY 01 – ARRIVAL / DELHI
Meeting and welcome on arrival at Delhi international airport by Royal India Holidays Pvt Ltd representative and escorted to the pre-booked hotel. Check in at the hotel and freshen up.
 
DAY 02 – DELHI
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of Old Delhi visiting Red Fort, Jama Masjid, and the narrow streets of Chandni chowk by a cycle rickshaw. Afternoon you will explore New Delhi and visit Humayuns Tomb, Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple, India Gate and drive past president’s palace and Indian parliament building. Overnight stay at the hotel.
 
DAY 03 – DELHI / VARANASI
Today in the morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to the domestic airport to board a flight for Varanasi.
 
You will be met on arrival at Varanasi airport and transferred to you hotel. Afternoon proceed to visit Durga Temple, Bharat Mata Temple, Shri Kashi Vishwanath Mandir, Tulsi Manas Temple and Banaras Hindu University.
 
Be a witness to a magical evening Aarti on the Ghats of the holy River Ganges offered by priests. It is an absolute magic with the chanting of Sanskrit mantras, the clash of cymbals and drums, the scent of flowers, incense and sandalwood and the blazing camphor lamp and many flamed Aarti raised high in the air. Overnight stay at Hotel.
 
DAY 04 - VARANASI / KHAJURAHO
Early morning boat ride on the Holi River Ganges to see the different ghats and people offering prayers.
After breakfast at the hotel you will be transferred to airport for flight to Khajuraho. Meeting and assistance on arrival at Khajuraho airport and transfer to Hotel.
 
Khajuraho, the name of the town has been derived from a Sanskrit word “Khajura” or date palm. It is a world heritage site and a popular tourist destination has the largest group of Hindu and Jain temples famous for their erotic sculpture. The temples have been preserved and today are a fine example of India architectural style. The temples are divided into three main divisions – eastern, western and southern. The large western group of temples are the most erotic. The western group of temples offers a well made sound and light show at the temple complex.
 
Spend the afternoon at the hotel by the pool or in your room to relax. Evening sound and light show at the western group of temple complex. Overnight stay at Hotel.
 
DAY 05 - KHAJURAHO / AGRA
Morning city sightseeing tour of Khajuraho visiting various groups of temples with your guide. Later drive 3.5 hrs to Jhansi railway station to board train to Agra (Air conditioned chair car).
 
Assistance on arrival at Agra railway station and transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.
 
DAY 06 - AGRA / JAIPUR VIA FATEHPUR SIKRI
Early morning visit to mesmerising Taj Mahal, the symbol of love, at sunrise. After breakfast visit Agra fort, made of red sandstone on the banks of river Yamuna and a fine example of Mughal architecture.
 
Return to hotel, check out and drive to Jaipur, en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri, a historical town built by Akbar where you can see the Bulund Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world, Jama Masjid and the tomb of famous Sufi saint Shaikh Salim Chisti. On arrival at Jaipur check into your hotel for overnight stay.
 
DAY 07 - JAIPUR
Morning excursion to Amber fort, the ancient capital of the region with elephant ride. Later city sightseeing tour visiting City Palace – occupies a large are divided into a series of courtyards, gardens and buildings and a perfect blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture, Royal Observatory - An observatory with some rare qualities to its credit, Nawab Sahab Ki Haveli - and the Bazaar etc. Evening free to explore the colourful markets and streets. Overnight stay at the hotel.
 
DAY 08 - JAIPUR / PUSHKAR
After breakfast drive 4 hrs to Pushkar, a famous holi town, where Pushkar Cattle Fair is held every year. On arrival check into your hotel. Evening explore the town on your own and offer prayers on banks of the Pushkar Lake. Overnight stay at Hotel.
 
DAY 09 – PUSHKAR / JODHPUR
Morning drive 3 hrs to Jodhpur. On arrival check into your hotel. Afternoon tour of Jodhpur visiting Mehrangarh Fort built on a steep hill. The fort is among the best in India with exquisitely latticed windows in residential complexes. Jaswant Thada, a royal cenotaph built in white marble. Later visit Umaid Bhawan Palace, Sadar Museum and you also stroll down the markets of Jodhpur. Overnight stay at the hotel.
 
DAY 10 - JODHPUR / UDAIPUR
After breakfast drive 5 to 6 hrs to Udaipur en route visiting the famous Jain Temples at Ranakpur. On arrival at Udaipur check into the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay in the hotel.
 
DAY 11 - UDAIPUR
After breakfast proceed for city tour of Udaipur visiting Sahelion-Ki-Bari, City Palace, the biggest palace complex in India, where four generations of Maharajas added mansions and palaces. Museum of the Palace, which includes the beautiful peacock mosaic and miniature wall paintings of India mythology. In the evening sunset boat cruise on the lake Pichola. Overnight stay at Hotel.
 
DAY 12 - UDAIPUR /DELHI /DEPARTURE
Leave after breakfast and drive towards domestic airport to board a flight for Delhi. upon arrival transfer you to the international airport to board flight for back home.
