This tour has been designed to showcase the maximum tourist places within a short duration of time. Within these 8 days, tourist will be able to explore most of the major attractions of Sri Lanka. Some of the places to name are UNESCO World Heritage sites of Sigiriya and Sri DaladaMaligawa (Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic) in Kandy, Galle fort. Tour also includes visits to Gem museum / shop and lab, west and south coast beaches, Yala national park, tea gardens, Spice Garden, Kandy city tour, Colombo city tour, whale watching tour in Mirissa, the Royal Botanic Gardens and blue train journey along the west coast of Sri Lanka.
Itinerary
On arrival at Colombo airport assistance & transfer to hotel in Negombo (check in/out time 12pm). Negombo is a beach holiday destination and one of the best beaches in Sri Lanka. In the afternoon Negombo city tour with visits to fish market, Lagoon and fort.

After the breakfast leave for Sigiriya. On your way to Sigiriya you will be visiting the Pinnawala elephant orphanage to see the largest gathering of tamed elephants in the world, which comprised of 80 animals at the moment with many babies.
In the afternoon climb Sigiriya rock fortress. This iconic tourist attraction, a UNESCO world heritage site and one of the oldest landscaped gardens in the world.Later village tour in Sigiriya to see typical Sri Lankan rural village and learn Sri Lanka way of coking in a cooking class. Afterward check-in the hotel and leisure.

Places and activities for the day – Visiting Elephant orphanage Pinnawala,Sigiriya rock fortress, Sigiriya village tour, Cooking class.
After early breakfast leave for Kandy, En-route visit spice garden in Matale. Later visit Temple of the tooth relic. The tooth relic temple is a UNESCO world heritage site and visited by thousands of travelers every day. Later in the day visit Kandy view point, Kandyan cultural show, Gem museum and lapidary.

After early breakfast you will be heading to Nuwara Eliya via Sri Lanka hill country. You will board the hill country train and experience one of the most scenic train journeys in the world. Later on, check-in the hotel in Nuwara Eliya. Early afternoon drive to botanical garden and Nuwara Eliya city tour.

Early morning leave for hotel in Yala, en-route visit Ravana waterfall. Check-in the hotel and leisure. In the afternoon wildlife safari at Yala national park.
Yala National Park of Sri Lanka is famous for preserving large population leopards. Other wildlife includeselephants, crocodiles, deer, monkeys, buffaloes, birds, sloth bears, leopards, and many more. The park has five zones but only zone one and five are open for public in order to preserve wildlife and the its natural habitat.

After breakfast morning safari by jeep into the national park to enjoy the natural beauty and the wildlife. Although Sri “Lanka has many national parks, but Yala National Park is the most famous one due to abundance on wildlife.

After the breakfast leave for the beach hotel in west coast. En-route walking tour of Galle fort and visit to the sea turtle conservation project. Later boat tour at Ramsar wetland of Madu. In the afternoon leisure in the beach resort.
